Hello! I'm an 11th grader, soon to be 12th grader in September, with a passion for engineering. My goal is to earn a degree in mechanical engineering and join my university’s Formula SAE and rocket teams. Most of my experience is in 3D printing and hardware. I’ve worked on projects like DIY night vision goggles made from a webcam and smaller Estes C-class motor rockets. Currently, I'm focusing on two larger rockets.
The first rocket is the Hold Ur Horses MK4, powered by an Estes F15-8 motor, designed to reach an altitude of 1,700 feet. It has a diameter of 45mm and includes my "FCv1" flight altimeter and data logger. The second project is the King Stallion 3 (KS3), which will utilize a more advanced version of my previous ESP32-powered FCv1, called the "FCv2."  I plan to launch it with an Aerotech G80t-14 motor, aiming for an altitude of 1,100 feet.

Welp, I guess I lied. I just added a small pocket to add a Fingertech 40A hex screw switch for arming the King Stallion 3s pyrotechnics. But iam 99% sure this will be the last CAD based devlog for the KS3, and the next final step is to print out the avionics sled and battery cages, and then ordering everything I need to start building. I will make a short devlog for when I print out this stuff, so ig stay tuned on insta (at Engineered Nonsense) for the lengthy build and test period spanning basically all of July.

Decided to change the design of my avionics sled battery cage because i realised that putting a 1S lipo battery right behind my XBee pro 900hp wouldnt be so great, also because i plan to already run positive and negative “high voltage” 2s lipo wires behind the XBe altready for the CPR3000. i also got rid of the battery chargin module because i will put an access hatch on the body anyways and keep the batteries easily acceseble. I believe this should be the last digital Dev-log as the next step is I hope to be is actually building the KS3, wish me luck on building this thing, also ig follow along here and i’ll also be posting some stuff on Insta on (@EngineeredNonsense).

Finally finished the Avionics Sled for my King Stallion 3 (KS3) Rocket! the main sled (in black) will hold my new and modified ESP-32 controlled FCv2 (Flight Computer v2) on the lower half which is also the largest section, and then a smaller upper section that will have a board that mounts a planned XBee Pro 900hp for live telemetry. The green cage holds 2 batteries, on the lower half is a smaller 450-600mah 3.7v 1S lipo that will power my FCv2 with the help of a 5v 2A boost converter(Boost convertor mounted on actual board) and then in the middle of the Cage is a larger 3000mah 7.4V 2S Lipo that is used for my Loc Precision CPR3000 ejection system, which goes ontop of a upper bulkhead that is above the avionics sled. The last section and part of the Green Cage is that pink thing which is a 1S lipo Charging module, which will charge either the main FCv2 battery or the XBee battery. Speaking of the XBee, the upper cage (In blue) holds another 450-600mah 1S lipo that will power just the XBee with a 3.3v step down convertor, just bc the XBee will use much more power on its own. Both cages are bolted with M3 bolts to the main Avionics sled, and it should leave enough room between the batteries to add some foam. I Believe the i have finally completed the Avionics Sled, and that its ready for use/download, I plan to add all my STls to my Github ( Github-#maqboolabdulhai)

Just finished adding the built-in 6mm tall standoffs for both the Flight Computer (FCv2) and also the Xbee Pro 900hp module for live telemetry onto my planned rockets Avionics Sled.
