Devlog #2

What i worked on: The last time i did not quite finish the case for the pcb so here i went ahead and completed it. This task was pretty easy since I already know how to cad it just took longer because I was having a problem with the dxf file that needed to be uploaded but it worked out in the end.

Whats next: Part of this mission is to make it have a component that is not from the guide so I am yet to do that. I will probably add another button and some other things. The cad for it will be easy the only part that might take me a second is learning how to do the pcb. It was easy making it from the guide but now to add extra parts with no instructions might be a little confusing becuase I haven’t done a pcb before but im sure I will figure it out. Im really excited to be able to build it in person. Those are my favorite projects but its hard to do it without a 3d printer and materials.

Devlog #1

Just started working on this project. I completed the pcb design and it wasn’t as hard as i thought it would be. The only difficult part was downloading kicad and learning where the buttons are but not to bad. I also started doing the cad in fusion. I have used fusion before but not too much but again not too bad.

Fixed so it works in Hack Club slack.

Slack Bot pt3
-I added 2 new commands: A about command (like help but says hi) and a nasa picture of the day command which also gives some info about it from the nasa site.
-Fixed it so it is hosted on nest and can run 24/7 which i had trouble doing before.

Space Game!
-Just made my first ever coded game using html and javascript. This one is space themed and the goal is to make the ship avoid the asteroids while your score goes up. They get faster the further you get. There is also a two player option so play with a friend! Ofc its not perfect some other featured may be added.
