@Shambhavi on Me!!!
Hi guys! This is a second ship of my personal website, but it is completely changed with more features from ship #1 (I still have it though!).
Creating this website was very fun. I don’t know much about coding, and this was a fun and creative way to learn some HMTL, CSS, and JavaScript.
Here are some cool features of my website, which can also be seen in the README:
- Cool topographic background on the entire website, except for modals
- Auto typing text
- Flowing gradient background on website header (my name)
- Sticky navbar
- Navbar blurs the background behind it
- Custom scroll bar on the entire website, including modals
- DARK MODE
- Different topographic background color
- Different colors
- The toggle changes with each click
- Music player modal
- Opens up a modal
- Plays a song
- User can exit out of the modal by clicking the “x” button or clicking on the window outside of the modal
- Navbar uses anchor links to scroll smoothly to sections
- Informative glass cards that get slightly larger when the user hovers over them
- The background behind the glass cards is blurred
- 4 interest modals
- Music modal: what instruments I play, my SPOTIFY playlists
- Traveling modal: travel recommendations with reviews
- Art modal: art gallery with a informative overlay on top of the art images that show up when the user hovers overs an image
- Books modal: book recommendations with reviews
- Projects section
- Several glass cards that get larger when hovered over
- Two links fade in when the user hovers over the card, which open up in a new tab
- Achievements section
- Sliding marquee
- When user hovers over the marquee, it stops, allowing the user to read the text
- Contact section
- Two image links that bring the user to my email and github page in a separate tab
- On the modals, as the user starts to scroll down, a scroll back to top button pops up, bringing the user back to the top of the modal so they can click the “x” button

To create this website, I used some help of AI to assist with spacing problems and other minor details. I also used some YouTube videos to help me create some awesome features, but I made sure to understand the code instead of just copying everything.
I worked really hard on this website, and I hope you like it!
NOTE: This website should not be viewed on phones, otherwise it’ll look weird. Laptops and desktop monitors are fine.
