EndeR-Theta - Toolhead Assembly - 01
I have CADed the toolhead, with an upgraded, direct drive extruder. It was a pain to figure out how to mount the fans though.

EndeR-Theta R-Axis - 01
I have reached the home stretch, and it is starting to look like an actual printer now! All I need to do is add the extruder, hotend, A-Axis, and a few miscellaneous parts before the CAD is complete. The R-Axis is fairly simple, but was an absolute pain to add to the assembly.

Glitch Resolved (To an extent)
I managed to create a stable file, by splitting the assembly into the 3 smaller assemblies, and only using the fastened mate. This means the CAD model will not accurately show possible degrees of motion, but at least I now have a stable file. The glitches might have been caused with the quarter millimeter difference between the bearing races on the v-rollers (shown in the second image), and I might have mated parts to different bearing races, causing an impossibility and unstable files. But I do not feel like remaking this assembly for the 4th time, so I might just leave this “fastened mate only” version as the final version of this assembly.

Z-Axis Sandwich - 02
The sandwich fits! The rollers are finally aligned to the extrusion rails, and I have the steppers for the A and R axes mounted. But these new steppers are more expensive than I thought they would be, (Why is shipping more expensive than the cost of the product?), so I need to adjust the design to use the original steppers.

Z-Axis Sandwich - 01
The z-axis is a sandwich. Outer plate, then rollers, then inner plate, then more rollers, then the far plate, then even more rollers, and the power supply. (I should make better names for the plates.) And the plates somehow are reversed and the rollers will not fit on the extrusions yet. Time for adjustments!

The bed is able to be rotated!
I have made the mechanism the bed to be able to be rotated, but I still need to add a stepper motor mount and belt.

Strange Clock
The clock no longer updates consistently! Instead, it updates every 1000*Math.random() milliseconds., Oh, and the clock is in UTC-12 to reduce helpfulness, because absolutely no one lives there.

EndeR-Theta Bed Rotation - 02
I managed to add the eccentric nuts to the v-rollers. But this design creates a cantilevered load on all 4 screws, so I need a top plate that can adjust the hole position to match with the eccentric nuts.

EndeR-Theta Bed Rotation Assembly
I have made a basic draft of the fully assembly to allow for the 3D printer bed to rotate. I still need to figure out a way use eccentric nuts in the design to allow the v-rollers to be adjusted for small defects in the 3d print.

EndeR-Theta Build Plate Rotation 02
I am redesigning the bed rotation rail to be only two pieces instead of 4, and mount to the bed rather than the frame. This allows me to save 4 screws and integrate the large pulley into the rail as a 2 piece assembly.

EndeR-Theta Build Plate Rotation Mechanism 01

I have CADed a 3d printable extrusion for the v-rollers on the understand of the bed to sit on, allowing the bed to rotate, a key part of the Core-R Theta kinematic system I am modifying the printer to use.
