Day 9 - Getting ready to ship!

And once again… there we are after another week! Unfortunately I love procrastinating and playing games with my friends so I’m working on these project less… ops. Anyway let’s talk about the new changes!

New GUI Layout!

I gave the GUI a quick rework to make it a bit prettier. It’s not a work of art, I know. But it’s still something cmon.. At least it’s better than the previous one…

Descriptions!

I added a box on the GUI to show a quick and easy to understand (I hope) description of the algorithm that the user is using!
It’s quick and easy to understand since this software is supposed to help people who had some problems learning these algorithms!

Yeah…

So, I decided to not include the Quick Sort since I don’t know how to add it… It’s pretty hard and after trying for a bit I decided to drop it directly together with the feature of comparing algorithms. It was a bit difficult…

Fixes and last things before shipping!

While working, I encountered some bugs and immediately fixed them. Now the software has some more checks so that people can’t press the “Sort” button while already sorting and can’t switch algorithm while sorting!
So now, I just have to finish writing the README with all the instructions on how to compile the project and it’s ready to ship! I should be able to do it by tomorrow!
