Spent like ~4 hours making RootOS from scratch with just html, css, and js. Hardest part was definitely the window dragging math, it kept glitching out and getting stuck. The z-index stacking was also super annoying to fix so the right window actually stays on top. Learned a lot about raw javascript events and how coordinates work without relying on libraries. Pretty happy with it tbh, looks sick.
