I worked on meepcoin daemon and wallet receiving logic today. Back to the explanations: the problem with normal cryptocurrencies, such as Bitcoin, Dogecoin, and Etheureum is that they all use the same hashing algorithm. The hashing is basically solving a puzzle/test question until you get it correct. If you do, you get rewarded with that crypto. Normally, cryptos use the same question (type) over and over again. Crypto miners literally hard wire their machines to just do that type of equation. Monero is different, it requires a different puzzle every single time. But Monero is meant for complex CPUs–something browsers can’t get. So instead of being like Monero and giving a 200 page textbook and having hard questions, Meepcoin uses a 32,000 page textbook with a super simple scavenger hunt. This is something cpus can do while being trapped in a browser/website.
