Final devloggggg!!! Im finally done with version one of GitWrapped!!! Honestly this has been one of the most exciting but frustrating projects ive ever done. I spruced up the UI a bit to make it feel more appealing. I added a work history heatmap, downloadable summary card that can be shared with friends, link to the github account the summary is referencing, and a bunch of other tiny fixes/updates.
Deploying was a bit problematic too cause of the GitHub PAT I used, so I had to find a better secure work around. Learning stuff for the first time can be crazy, cause the tiniest of mistakes can cause an error and lead you on wild goose chases lasting hours, my final bug for this project was literally just a single “.”, thats it, I started wondering whats wrong but after a while i was able to discover it. So thats pretty much it for GitWrapped, Hope you guys like it!
