DropFlow is lowkey cooking right now. Finally cracked the actual file-moving logic today, which means the whole pipeline-Choose Folder, Scan, Preview, Organize, Results-is officially alive. Ngl, getting the frontend and the Electron backend to stop ghosting each other and actually communicate was a whole boss fight. Also spent way too long debugging why the preview was acting up and refusing to scroll. Had to lock in on file safety too, because accidentally vaporizing someone’s important docs would be a massive L. Built a safe-move check so it automatically skips if a file with the same name already exists instead of just obliterating it. Test-ran it on a throwaway folder and it didn’t crash, so we take those. Seeing it actually sort files into clean folders instead of just sitting there as a prototype feels unreal. Next up, we’re adding an undo button and an actual history log so you can roll back if you change your mind. Still a mountain to climb, but we’re getting there.
