The circuit board is done! I finally finished placing and routing all the parts in KiCad for my custom mesh walkie-talkie. also I decided to expose all the metal traces on the top of the black board instead of hiding them. It gives the whole thing a really cool, futuristic look. and I added a real, physical volume knob to the design because you just can’t beat the feeling of turning a real dial.   Next up: The electronics are officially locked in. I just exported the board into Autodesk Fusion and I’m starting to design the 3D-printed case to hold it all together!
