I made the background and keyboard for my WebOS. Not gonna lie, used AI here with canvas, also found nice tutorial so i might do these particles that fly above when playing piano. i’m quite proud of making these glowing keys, well those are actually shadows but doesn’t matter. Also: made these names for keys, i intend for them to be toggable tho; made a button to hide/show piano, i think it looks good when its fully hidden and only the lights remain; and it’s now possible to control the piano with a pc keyboard, using “ a “ to “ ’ “ keys, black keys are the keys above like “ w “ and “ e “, and to change the octave with capslock; it’s also possible to control them with mouse
For my plans, i next intend to make some actual apps, of course including notebook, but also metronome and midi recording. From other things i want to implement shortcuts, so when you press A0 and C4, for example, virtual keyboard hides or shows. Last thing is to make a mouse setting so when a note is pressed, until you stop pressing it you can move it to any position, while still playing that note (Toggable, so that it’s also possible to scale the whole piano really fast).
I don’t intend to implement everything now, maybe after i make the first few apps and working piano i’ll ship it as WebOS 1, and then continue as WebOS 2
Oh, and should i name the keys that are possible to play with pc keyboard or maybe should i simply add a short guide of how it works
and also maybe it would make sense to add actual sounds lol
Anyways, feedback and critique is welcome, encouraged even, so i know what would actually be a good feature
