Got back on track, finally! It now gets visibly dim below 50 value on light, and dark below 25, along with squint and sleep. Im now going to begin working on the other expressions after I finish adding the dim to smile and alone faces. This thing is ending soon so idk if i will be able to add the computer control functions as promised :( I also switched to cachyos so Idk how that would go either.
