Update 5

I was coding the software for the Raspberry Pi 5 and Pico.
For communication, I set up a communication protocol with an exact syntax so that the programs can understand the commands.

The Pico has all the commands as inputs, converts them into pulse signals, handles all the parallel pulses, and keeps the Pi updated on the status of the components.

The Pi hosts a website on localhost:5000 where the user can enter all the data and select the mode. The Pi then converts the inputs into a command and sends it to the Pico. In the future, the Pi will create a digital clone of the arm, where you can simply enter the coordinates and the Pi will handle all the calculations for the kinematics.

I also wired all the necessary connections, but I didn’t get a chance to CNC-cut the other parts of the case. For the base plate, I 3D-printed one. Luckily, my print bed was just big enough by a few millimeters.

Next, I will try to get everything working together and make a video of it to submit.
Sadly, I won’t be able to finish everything in the next few days before the deadline.
