I began STEM//COMMAND after recognizing a problem I experienced as a student: many helpful SAT and ACT preparation platforms place their best resources behind recurring subscriptions. I wanted to create a more affordable, student-friendly alternative. The first version focused mainly on test preparation, but the project gradually developed into a larger academic command center. I added goal setting, study planning, deadline management, progress tracking, personalized recommendations, and separate preparation tools for different exams. I also created a one-time-purchase model because I wanted students to keep access without another monthly bill.I independently directed the project and used AI-assisted development to help turn my designs and ideas into a working product. The most challenging parts were organizing a large number of features without overwhelming users, making navigation understandable, connecting payments, and preparing the website for iOS. I repeatedly tested and revised the interface, simplified confusing sections, strengthened the student experience, deployed a public website, and began configuring the native App Store version. After approximately 150 hours of research, planning, design, development, testing, and troubleshooting, STEM//COMMAND has evolved from a simple SAT idea into a comprehensive platform intended to help students feel organized, prepared, and in control of their academic futures.
