Day three, four, five, six, and seven! (
)
Umm, i didn’t have much time this week to devlog, and also i didn’t feel like writing devlogs, so I’m writing this before my trip!
(the days i’m going to reference are the days in the devlog, like first day -> day three)
The first day, i rewired the pcb again, then made the bottom plate of the case.
The second day, i made the rest of the case, then noticed that the front plate had a humongous forehead,
so the next day I rewired the pcb (again).
This is pretty normal with pcb design, is what i noticed.
The 4th day was spent with case design, and it still had a huge forehead.
the next day was spent with forehead smallening surgery, which included:
- rewiring the pcb
- remaking the case
And it still has a huge ass forehead.
The main problems were:
- the switches, rotary encoder and leds don’t have a cad model in kicad
- the oled display was in the wrong orientation
- the led footprint is probably in the wrong orientation
I cannot work on the project for the next few days, after that ill probably start setting up the firmware.
thanks for coming to my ted talk
