Devlog #2: Multiple windows, multiple features

Since the last update, I changed the structure of the app to go from having one BrowserWindow to multiple BrowserWindows (So far: Search, Todo list, Notepad). They are currently in a stacked position and will later be moved around.

As of now

The todo list makes checkboxes when you enter a prompt, and you can check them off when finished. The notepad is resizable and saves text from when you open and close via the keybind.

Struggles so far

Spent a good 15 minutes wondering why the window wouldn’t resize for the notepad, went through task manager and force closing electron instances, all to find that i missed a “height: 100%;” in the HTML file. very fun.

Next for Brainboard

Ill add a pomodoro timer window next, and hopefully a mini calendar. After that, I need to get the AI integration working so that the searchbar has a purpose. Hopefully soon I will get to designing and getting the transparency looking good.
