Spectralis devlog #21
—Hello again proggers—
Flagged for “AI website” again. By Shipwrights this time. Getting a little tired of this specific accusation, honestly — a commit log sitting right there would show actual work happening over actual time, but apparently that’s a few extra minutes nobody wants to spend.
the receipts exist, nobody’s asking to see them
Cat or dog? git log –oneline
Okay let’s get into it~
—Yap—
Third redesign of the site now. Not because the flag was right, but because if this keeps happening it’s worth just making the “looks AI-made” argument harder to make at all, regardless of whether it was ever a fair read in the first place.
—The Great Suffering—
1 — Flagged Again
Shipwrights flagged the site as AI-generated. Same accusation as the devlog #12-#14 saga, different flagger this time. Slightly more annoying with each repeat, since the actual work history’s right there for anyone willing to look.
2 — The Annoying Part
It’s not that the site got flagged, it’s that the disproof is trivially available — commits, timestamps, iterative changes across three separate rebuilds — and checking that apparently isn’t part of the process. Frustrating, not devastating.
3 — Redesigned It A Third Time
Rather than fight the flag directly, changed the site again. Third pass now, and it genuinely reads less like generic AI-slop territory than the last version did. Whether that satisfies the next flag or not, it’s a real improvement on its own merits.
—FAQ (no one asked these but they are here)—
Q: What is a “progger”?
A: A human programmer. You. The one who’s redesigned this website three separate times partly to dodge a false flag.
Q: What’s Shipwrights?
A: The one doing the flagging this round.
Q: Is the flag actually accurate?
A: No — there’s a real commit history behind the site across devlogs #12 through #14 and now this one. The flag’s wrong, just annoying to keep disproving.
Q: Does this redesign replace the one from devlog #14?
A: Yes, third full pass on top of that one.
Q: Any plan if it gets flagged a fourth time?
A: Probably the same plan: keep the receipts, keep improving the site anyway, move on.
—This is the end*—
*end for now, false flags permitting
PALPABLE!!!
