Air-Mouse Devlog #1

I thought it would be cool if I could control my desktop from anywhere in my room with no problem instead of carrying a wireless keyboard and mouse to create a nice personal eco-system in my room, so I thought how I could actually do something like that and that’s how I got to this solution, although not practical without any other hardware it is cool and in school people might just think you’re doing black magic.

Air-Mouse is a program that lets me control my computer from anywhere using just my camera creating a virtual trackpad near you, currently the project is actually already almost finished most mouse related features work like left click using index pinch and right click using middle finger pinch and scrolling using the index and middle finger together. Currently I’m working on adding typing support by letting users toggle keyboard mode and draw letters in the air to type. I am also working on creating better custom models for gesture detection for better accuracy especially in dark areas.
