#01:Finished coding the first guide for my Web-OS , an operating system for a spaceship, planned with two visual directions: a holographic blue theme and a metal-frame spaceship look. Having all the styles sitting inside the HTML file got confusing fast, so I pulled them out into their own file to keep things organized. The original guide doesn’t really push you toward that early on, but it already feels worth it. Then I couldn’t get the background to show up at all in the CSS file,…turned out I’d forgotten to include the folder path, so the file just wasn’t being found. Once that was sorted, I challenged myself to make my first-ever animation: something that moves around a profile picture on the page. Added the background properly, and wrote a short bit about my favorite character, who the whole page is loosely inspired by. This is my first real coding project, so moments like that first animation feel like small steps on my programming path.
