Hapticode Dev log #5 Hello everyone! Today I made one kinda major update and added two haptic types. Let’s get into it. First, I made it so when you long press on a haptic it opens the docs in a web view sheet instead of a share sheet. This took longer then it should have because all the top tutorial hits where for the new in iOS 26 SwiftUI web view. I wanted a web view that would work all the way back to iOS 15, so I resorted to getting AI to help me. Next, I worked some more on getting ready to let users add their own custom haptic combinations. Then I added UIKitNotificationFeedbackGenerator and UIKitSelectionFeedbackGenerator, still don’t quite know how that one works. It accepts a position input, does that mean the haptic will play from different places in the phone? I’ll have to find out. I also made it so in voice over the warning that a haptic won’t play on your device is backed into the text instead of being a separate element. That was pretty much it. I did work on the core haptics section some, but it’s still a like buggy. God bless and see you next time! Here are some pictures of the new areas (nothing really exciting though):
