I’m currently developing NeuroVox v2.0, an EMG-based assistive communication wearable that converts forearm muscle activity into contextual speech. Today’s work focused entirely on research and system design while awaiting hardware funding. I studied optimal dry Ag/AgCl electrode placement over the flexor digitorum superficialis and extensor digitorum for reliable multi-channel EMG acquisition, designed the analog signal chain using AD8232 amplifiers, INA333 instrumentation amplifiers, and an ADS1299 24-bit ADC, and explored IMU-based motion artifact rejection. I also planned the ESP32-S3 firmware architecture, Bluetooth communication, AI-powered speech generation pipeline, PCB noise isolation strategy, and the mechanical enclosure for the wearable.
