Devlog #18
Hello everyone,
Welcome to Devlog #18 of AniSuffle!
I know it has been a while , but to be honest , i dont really have much to show for this devlog . Even though I have been working on something fun to be added in this site.
Update
I the last devlog I told that I will be working on the treding section ,but while making that I dont know for some reason I wanted to make a game like thing in this site. Lemme give a brief description . so I was thinking of making a Rating Guess game , where you will be shown any 4 anime poster and its name and you would have to choose a anime and you will be given a score and I am also planning to make a leaderboard so that the game feels even more competetive, but the problem is that I dont want to make sign in compulsory and I would need a username for that . So I have been working on the game but still am unsure about the usernames , as asking multiple usernames might be confusing so, I am still thinking on what to do about this.
I would not expand the devlog anymore.

I would think that the non compulsory sign in is a good idea but only for the anisuffle recomendation part where people would like to get something wuick and then leave. However, if they’d like to play the game as well, id suggest the sign in is compulsory but maybe not a long one. Maybe like username and password only? Though that would be risky with any data involved so im not quite sure. You could make the game in another tab/part of the site so its kind of separate from the site and sign in can be easy OR you could just make them go through the entire sign in process for the game, its not like its the main reason the site will be used , if they like the game enough to use it, theyll sing in for it. As long as the sign in is only once though, signing in everytime WOULD be unbearable.
Yeah , I would need at least a username to store data , but Asking multiple username might ruin the UX , so still I am confused about this part . And Thank you @Gideonthegreat for the suggestion. The new tab idea is not bad actually =)
I think apart from mangadex it would be great if you added comix because in some areas like in where I live you have to turn on 1.1.1.1 to go to mangadex
