Devlog #15

Hello everyone,

Welcome to Devlog #15 of AniSuffle!

So first, I have a few announcements.

I got some more feedback, and in respect of those, I will now be making the devlogs shorter and use limited/less kaomoji (ó﹏ò｡), so that you can read the devlogs more clearly.

Update

So, I have finally finished working on the Hover to Play Trailer feature.

I just have a mute and unmute button which will be displayed on the trailer when hovered.

When hovering, for a few seconds, it will also show titles, the YouTube logo, and other YouTube things. I tried to hide those but was unable to. When I asked AI, it told me that it was not possible. Rather, it gave me alternative ways, which I thought would not be a great user experience, so I left it as default.

I had a hard time fixing the overlapping of the hover and click animations, but those are finally gone.

Now I guess that’s it for this devlog.

When i saw the solo leveling in the video, I thought of the manhwa which made me wonder two things.

Is Manwha put in as a “genre” of manga to be sorted or is it gonna have its own section, It would be cool if the website can also reccomend good manwhas and webtoons though for those I usually like to see an actual person’s thoughts on it so idk what you can do with that. (also please let me know if im being bossy or suggesting too much, i just thought i might as well be usefull as someone whos following your project and tell you my thoughts)

Do mangas get trailers too?

Hey , The anime and mangas are shown differently . And Yes Mangas trailers were also available in some APIs and you will be able to see them . And nah you are not being Bossy =) . I like it when i get feedback . It gives my dummy brain more ideas actually
