Devlog #12

Hello everyone!! (˶ᵔᗜᵔ˶)ﾉﾞ

Welcome to Devlog #12 of Anime Shuffle! (≧▽≦)

Hope you all are doing great! (๑˃ᴗ˂)ﻭ

This devlog will be a bit shorter (Hopefully….), but I wanted to share the final updates before the release because…

Intro Animation

The first thing I added is a small intro screen (around 7–8 seconds long) where you’ll be asked to enter a username. (ᵔᗜᵔ)

Don’t worry, I’m not checking whether the username is already taken or not (just yet). You can type anything you want here. The purpose of this intro is simply to make the experience feel a bit more personal and fun. (｡•̀ᴗ-)✧

I hope you’ll like it! =)

When you eventually sign up, you’ll enter your username again, and that one will need to be unique. (ᵕ—ᴗ—)

After entering your name, a short animated intro will play before taking you into the site. (✧ω✧)

And yes… I used AI to help create this animation. Not completely, but it definitely helped speed things up. (￣▽￣)ゞ

I also changed the background of the site because the previous one made some buttons a little difficult to see. I received that as feedback, so thank you very much!

The site now uses a live wallpaper instead, which should make everything much clearer. I hope you will like that (ó﹏ò｡)

** Double Tap = Save**

Just like on social media apps, you can now double-tap (or double-click) an anime or manga poster to save it instantly. (☞ﾟヮﾟ)☞

When you do, a small star animation appears , yeyyy….

** Email Verification Improvements**

I also made a few improvements to the email verification system. (｡•ᴗ•｡)

The verification email has been redesigned slightly so that the verification code is much easier to spot and copy. (´꒳`)

** Shipping Soon…**

That’s pretty much it for this devlog! (ﾉ´ヮ`)ﾉ*:･ﾟ

Right now I’m focusing on making the site fully responsive across different screen sizes. ૮₍ ˃ ⤙ ˂ ₎ა

Also, the email shown in the disposable-email demo video isn’t the actual email theme used by AniShuffle. The disposable email website simply couldn’t render the HTML email correctly. (╥﹏╥)

After that’s done, I might write one final devlog before releasing it… or maybe I’ll just ship it immediately. (¬‿¬)

My goal is to release Anime Shuffle within the next two days, so stay tuned! (๑>◡<๑)

I’ll also include a short guide video showing **how to get a free disposable (dummy) email,just in case you dont know ** so you can test the authentication system without using your own email. (｡•̀ᴗ-)✧
