I worked on the gripper specifically to fix some past mistakes. I never had any way for the gripper to slide without it rubbing on the bottom of the base. It also had the issue of falling out as it was not secured. I fixed this by adding 4 horizontal metal rods across that act as a guide for each gripper. see in photos for changes.
