got back home, wrote a README with overview, installation, support and contributing info, created a metainfo file in case I ever bother to publish this to Flathub and so it looks nice in Linux software stores, fixed a bug with missed event deliveries when reconnecting to the backend, wrote a github actions workflow for publishing on release and added a banner sending you to the FAQ after onboarding
