So this is my first project with StarDance and with any sort of software or coding at all. I am using claude code to help me with the coding since I have no past experience, but I am learning as I go and I am trying to make the project mine.
I am working on a website for studying and keeping track of productivity. You could use it outside of school, but the main setup is for courses that you are studying and have assignments for. In the app you can add courses where you can track assignments, test, and quizzes. Within assignments you can keep track of your due dates and your progress on certain assignments like essays. You can a log study sessions. The study sessions allow you to keep track of the amount of time you are studying in a course and you can use the in app study tools while in a session. I have not started making the study tools usable yet because this is still a work in progress. The final tab inside each course is the notes section. I have a feeling this part might take a while so I haven’t done very much with it. I plan to make it so you can take general notes like you would on a document platform and have the option to take notes for things like math in a whiteboard format. I want to give this option since I know it can be frustrating to type out math symbols on a keyboard. The idea is to make it so if you were using an iPad you could use a stylus or your finger to write notes instead of a keyboard. One final feature is the calendar. Since this is supposed to be an app where you can track your productivity I thought it would be useful to include a calendar. The calendar allows you to select what course each event is for so that when you open your course you see a preview of upcoming events. You can also change the length of an event over multiple days or even just hours. The calendar also automatically adds any upcoming due dates that you add when you add an assignment.
