The hexapod is assembled! While I am sad that my initial goal of having it walking is unfortunately not complete, I am at the stage that all is left is programming. The last month has been hectic, but I have now started university. Over the next few months, I aim to bring the hexapod to a demo-worthy state, finding gaps of time between my engineering workload. Anyone who is interested in this project, please feel free to check out the GitHub! It, like this project, is a work in progress, but work will be made (I need this project done before my first Co-op term, lol). I’ve attached an image of the assembled hexapod. Over the next little bit, CAD files will make their way over to the repo, in case anyone is looking to build it. As this is likely my last devlog, I wanted to extend a sincere thank you to the organizers of Stardance. Being able to spend the summer working on a genuinely exciting project, while being surrounded with many others doing the same thing, is an amazing experience. I feel like having this organization helped me make real progress on my project. Good luck to all makers, and watch the GitHub for any (non-regular) updates I manage to fit in!
