So I have finally decided what the last thing I do will be (at least before I ship). So I will make a plugin for Noctalia that integrates TickTick so that there are desktop widgets, taskbar widgets, and an option in the picker to easily create a new task.

I am doing this using TickTick’s OpenAPI. For now, I have just created a slash command in Noctalia’s finder. This took a while because I initially tried doing this when Noctalia was in Beta, and the documentation wasn’t that good back then. However, now Noctalia has a full release (not Beta anymore!) so the plugin API is much more fleshed out.
