since the build in its current form did not work bc the motor/gearing is underpowered, i need to design this part. i found the masses of everything by assigning materials in onshape/manually adding stuff up. then i found the max torque and rpm of the motor, and the 26t mod1 gear i use, this combination is underpowered. need to use a new motor to achieve the acceleration i would need :(
