Today, I started looking at other split keyboards, like the voyager. Then I moved onto more like the Geist Geist, Plaid and then moved onto a keyboard like the corne wich I liked. In the end, I decided on a 5 column layout with three switches for the thumb. Here are pictures of the brainstorming + the VERY start of my KiCad.
