Instructions to enter demo mode:

• Install the APK
• Scroll down and click on Bypass compatibliity check if shown Not supported
• Close the app and clear from Recents, and re-open the app.
• Complete the onboarding
• Long press anywhere outside the reconnect button to enter demo mode

Material 3 Expressive

I worked on adding a new design system, based on Material 3 for the users who don’t like Apple’s design system/Liquid Glass.

High quality audio recording

I also added a Recorder which uses AAC-ELD (received over AACP*).

This is of much higher quality than the mSBC or CVSD codecs available over Headset/Handsfree Profile where both directions of streams are of poor quality.

This also allows users to use A2DP while recording, meaning high quality playback as well.

I also spent a lot of time digging through AOSP code to understand how the audio system works, so that I can make the AAC-ELD microphone stream available to all apps and calls, and not just for recording from the app.

I also reverse-engineered and implemented the Equalizer that was announced in WWDC26
