The idea is simple. You open it, a timer starts, and you write. No AI finishing your sentences for you, no tabs to slip away to. There’s even a Dangerous mode where if you stop typing or leave the page, your work gets deleted. It sounds harsh, but it’s the feature people end up loving, because it actually forces you to finish the thought or the essay you were procrastinating for almost a month.

Where it stands right now:

Around 500+ users signed up
110,000+ words written on the platform
100+ hours of focused writing logged

What I’ve shipped recently:

• Focus sounds built in (brown noise, 40 Hz gamma, lofi), plus you can paste any YouTube link to play in the background

• Daily streaks, XP and levels, leaderboards and achievements to keep the habit going

• A Community tab where people post their stories and essays and get some feedback/comments

• Documents organized in folders, PDF export, public profiles, Google login

• Stripe subscriptions are live

It’s running in production at iwrite4.me. Next I want to grow the community side and make the writing stats feel more rewarding. Slowly turning a small side project into something people open every day.
