So for my first ever hardware project I wanted to build something not just interesting for me but also for my mom. So you see in my backyard we have a garden but unfornatly due to rabbits and my dog before anything can grow it gets destroyed. So I though what if I built something that can grow the pants inside.

So I decided to make my own Deep Water Culture Hydroponics system so my mom can grow vegatables in are basement. Right now im thinking lettuce but any vegtable could be an option.

what I have right now is the 3d print for the controller box where I plan to hold the OLED display and the microcontroller for the sensors I’m currently planning to add. Right now, I’m thinking temperature, water level (I’m going to have a pump) and a light level sensor. But I might add more in the future depending on how the first 3 work. I also need to separate the lid and controller box so they 3d print easier.
