pain
in part 11/14, i learnt about class diagrams (among other things), and in all the time I’ve ever done programming, ive never used it. i still thinks its super useless (unless someone reading this strongly disagrees). i can see a niche use case where class diagrams could be useful, but imo, it isn’t useful for me.
i also did packages, which i already know about, and they are quite easy, so it wasn’t much of a problem for me. I also learnt about Exceptions, and how to throw them. learnt to write to a file and finished this part.
and i also learnt one thing more. I absolutely HATE unit tests. The exercises had tests I needed to pass, and omw they were so annoying. I miss ONE space and the entire thing fails. genuinely pmo. My friend said unit tests are useful in some scenarios but are also a pain and ig, having an automated checker is useful but still, I’ll hate them with every fiber in my body.
yea that’s it. I hated that one exercise which took me an hour because I missed one line of output.
