DEVLOG 6 (and seven soon)

Its been soooooooooooooooo long since my last devlog. I had my exams and well I couldn’t much and didn’t write my devlog last time.

Oh you don’t know what Nyx? It is a light sail simulation I am working on for a paper I am writing

(btw there are emojis now so cool stuff got added when I was gone)

NEW ADDITIONS:

• Introduce a materials package (Material dataclass + presets: Graphene, Aluminium, SiliconCarbide) and an analysis package with plotting helpers and an Experiment helper.
• Update SimMain to accept a material for each sail type, pull reflectivity/absorptivity from the material, and record max/average temperature history.
• Fix numeric/geometry issues: correct sphere inertia, improve normal/rotation math for sphere and paraboloid, and ensure positions use rotated local coordinates.
• Add multiple debug/test scripts and enable analysis plotting at the end of simLoop to visualize force, position, velocity, acceleration, angular velocity and temperature histories.
