So so far up to now, I have completely neglected everything other than iPhone. i needed this so that i could focus on making iphone as seamless and intuitive and possible, and to push features faster. so now i have to go and basically remove all of the non-iPhone code and replace it with iphone code, and then try to make that work multiplatform.

so i decided iphone is going to remain as a tabview, for now at least, but ipados, macos, and big iphones can use a navigation split view, shown below. so a sidebar and main view and an inspector on the right sometimes.
