Hi There It’s been a bit since I have had the chance to make a devlog about my game but ive done quiet a bit with my game here is what I did:
Added
-New main character sprite
-Procedural animated grass
-Grass player-reaction
-Grass scatter field
-Y-sorting
-Slash attack on left-click (Dismantle) Player self-knockback
-Hitstop / impact frames (cause they are awsome)
-Impact orbs (aka just the impact frames something like hollow knights)
-White hit-flash shader (so that you can tell when you hit an enemy)
-First enemy- slime (every self respecting dungeon game has a slime)
Added my first summon which is a centipede
I have a lot more planned and Ill consider being more active with my devlogs but I doubt ill stop procrastinating them also any tips for art would be appreciated cause I don’t feel like mine are really top notch

That’s pretty cool! I’m not sure if you already know this, but the centipede looks like it has a different pixel size to the player, while generally you want to keep the pixel size the same throughout the entire game which makes the game look better. There are some exceptions that work, but that is a generally good guide to follow. Although, if you do want to adhere to same pixel sizes throughout, you will probably have to redo the sprite, so you can do whatever you think is best. GL!
