Went back and leaned stage 1 more heavily on the shared print routine (cpritn) instead of duplicating printing logic, and tightened up the handoff into stage 2. Stage 2 now loads the kernel using a precomputed Disk Address Packet instead of recalculating the sector count and offset from scratch every single time it runs.
