Stardance is a free online summer program for teens 13–18. Build any technical project you want — websites, games, apps, hardware — log your hours, and earn real prizes: Raspberry Pis, 3D printers, even a laptop. No experience needed — guides and a community of over 100,000 teens are there to help you get started.
It runs June 1 – September 30, with weekly drops, freebies, and AMAs with astronauts. Run by Hack Club, a nonprofit that’s shipped 10,000+ prizes to teen makers in 119 countries.
Curious about Hack Club? Learn more about our donors or other programs.
No judges, no winners. Just build something and get rewarded for it.
Build any website, game, app, hardware of your liking. No experience required.
New to coding?
Don't worry — we have guides for complete beginners!
Ship your project into the world for others to see! Anything open-source counts.
Your project gets rated by other teens. The higher your rating, the more stardust you earn.
Spend your stardust in the shop and we’ll ship prizes to you. Free for teens, funded by donations.
Here’s what this project might get as a prize.

By the end of this weekend, you can get something real. Here’s what a few hours can get you.
Previously, we ran High Seas, Summer of Making, Flavortown, all with a similar model. Here’s what happened.
