What is this?
Stardance is a free online summer program for teens 13–18. Build any technical project you want — websites, games, apps, hardware — log your hours, and earn real prizes: Raspberry Pis, 3D printers, even a laptop. No experience needed — guides and a community of over 100,000 teens are there to help you get started.
It runs June 1 – September 30, with weekly drops, freebies, and AMAs with astronauts. Run by Hack Club, a nonprofit that’s shipped 10,000+ prizes to teen makers in 119 countries.

1. Make projects
Build any website, game, app, hardware of your liking. No experience required.

2. Gain stardust
Publish projects
Ship your project into the world for others to see! Anything open-source counts.
Get feedback
Your project gets rated by other teens. The higher your rating, the more stardust you earn.
3. Earn prizes!
Spend your stardust in the shop and we’ll ship prizes to you. Free for teens, funded by donations.

Who is eligible?
Stardance is for highschoolers! You need to be 13-18 years old to participate.

How much does it cost?
100% free* - all the prizes are donated to us or paid for by us!

All kinds of technical projects as long as it’s open-source!
