Hi! I’d like to request a re-review for my WebOS project and clarify the setup and AI usage. First, I’d like to describe the project again. It is a web-based operating system I named makOS. Built in the style of Arch Linux, it includes applications such as a calendar, calculator, notes, and the game Snake.

Regarding the AI aspect: I engineered and built this project by myself with help of ai assistant. However, when I tried to deploy it to GitHub, the build failed. To fix the deployment, I imported the project into Lovable purely to resolve the build environment and workflow issues, instructing it not to alter the webOS logic itself. Lovable fixed the deployment, but automatically added a tag to the README.md claiming the entire project was generated by Lovable from scratch.

I wanted to clarify this because, while I used AI as my coding assistant to build makOS, the project was fully directed, designed, and debugged by me, and Lovable was only used at the end to fix the GitHub Pages pipeline.

I finished the first version of the project makOS. Its browser-based Web OS is built using Next.js, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, and pnpm. The core architecture uses components like Desktop.tsx and Window.tsx to manage the environment and window states, supporting drag-and-drop, focus layer management, minimizing, and maximizing. Built-in applications running inside the system include a Terminal emulator, a Snake game, a text notepad, a calculator, and a calendar.

I have successfully built and tested my own browser engine, called
m-engine. All sections were tested without errors, and every phase was
completed flawlessly. I am now working on the browser application itself
and am very close to a functional beta version. I used Kilo Code to
help out, and so far, I have no complaints about it.

I was just Debugging my mistakes, nothing special, and if you’re wondering why I have so little recorded time on this project, it’s because I’ve been working on it for about a year, and I didn’t know about StarDance back then. Otherwise, I’ve put in over 50 hours of work on it.

What I made & Why
I built a Chrome extension called Kahoot AI Helper. I originally created it to make my life easier at school, where we frequently play Kahoot quizzes during classes.
​How it works
The extension automatically scans the active question and answer choices in real-time directly from the kahoot.it page. It passes this data to a selected AI provider—such as Google AI Studio, OpenRouter, or Puter—which determines the correct answer. Once processed, the extension immediately highlights the right option directly inside the game interface.
​The challenges & Development process
I have been working on this project for about a year now. My tracked WakaTime hours do not show the true scope of the work because I didn't know about Stardance when I started development.
​Honestly, building this was brutal. I was constantly battling bugs, handling edge cases, and troubleshooting DOM detection. Even though the final extension is incredibly lightweight (just over 30kb), making it stable and functional took an immense amount of effort. I have easily put well over 150 hours of hard work into this project.
